Joslyn Art Museum is under structure and very shortly, the Museum will close for a period of two years. Joslyn'south expansion and renovation will add galleries, classrooms, public spaces, a new entrance, so much more! Early Closure of Selected Galleries
Note that selected gallery spaces, including European galleries one–5, are now closed for deinstallation. Upon arrival at the Museum, all visitors are asked to check in at the admissions desk-bound (see Museum Entrance below for arrival and parking data).
Mask Information
Masks are strongly encouraged for all visitors. Masks are required for all visitors ages v+ who have non been vaccinated against COVID-19. Masks must be worn in Joslyn's classrooms. Additionally, masks are required of all participants in docent-guided schoolhouse and adult grouping tours. Cheers for your cooperation.
Joslyn is taking numerous steps to ensure the well-beingness of visitors and staff, including mandatory masks for staff and non-vaccinated visitors, enhanced cleaning protocols, and a phased reopening of public areas to ensure physical distancing. Endmost Weekend Hours:

MUSEUM ENTRANCE Accessing the Grounds
All visitors must enter and exit the grounds from 24th Street. A construction zone has been established that closes public access to the Museum'south Contrivance Street archway and exit drive.
Accessing the Museum
All visitors volition enter and exit the Museum using a temporary, accessible door on the north side of the building (encounter site map beneath). A structure zone has been established that closes all entrances on the east side of the building.
As you enter the Museum site from 24th Street, look for the VISITOR ENTRANCE signage posted along the due north side of the building. A vestibule offers protection from inclement weather. From the drive, a curb ramp allows for access to the sidewalk leading to the new archway. One time inside the vestibule, a 2nd door offers affect-free access to a gently sloping walkway into the Museum. A brusk set of stairs at the cease of the interior walkway leads to the check-in desk. Guests may also cull to accept an lift.

Topographic Tunnel: A Mural Created by Joslyn's Kent Bellows Mentoring Program
Inside Joslyn's new temporary entrance, visitors are greeted by a landscape that runs the length of the walkway leading to the check-in desk. This art moment, called Topographic Tunnel, was created by teen artists with Joslyn's Kent Bellows Mentoring Program. Rebecca Harrison was artist mentor for the project. Topographic Tunnel is inspired by satellite imagery of Nebraska landscapes and includes patterns, symbols, and textures the grouping plant in the Museum and abstracted to reflect their own personal styles and welcome visitors with a bright and colorful pattern.

Access & Amenities:
Costless parking is available in the Parking Garden north of the Museum. Metered parking is available on surrounding streets. The Parking Garden is accessible via the 24th Street entrance bulldoze to the west.
During construction that began in August 2021, visitors may enter the Museum through a temporary archway on the north side of the building. Wheelchairs, strollers, and a scooter are available on a first-come, start-served ground at no additional charge (sanitized after each use). All galleries and public spaces are accessible to disabled persons. An all gender restroom with changing tabular array is located northward of the atrium bridge. A nursing room and in-restroom changing tables are located in the Memorial Building.
An ATM is available near the atrium entrance desk.
